Unprovoked Assault.
Michael Dooney, miner, of Warmsworth Hoad, Denaby, was fined 20s. at Doncaster West Riding Saturday for an assault on Harry Cocksedge, miner; a cross-summons was dismissed.
Cocksedge said soon as he got out of a trackless tram near the Denaby Post Office Dooney struck him under the jaw, knocked him down, and then ran away.
He had given him provocation at all.
Dooney alleged that Cocksedge struck him first and he struck back.
