Valuable, Freehold And Copyhold Property at Conisborough

To be SOLD by AUCTION’, Messrs. Waddington and Co. at the Star Inn, Conisborough, on THURSDAY, the 12th day of Aujrust, 1909, at 5 for 6 o’clock in the afternoon, subject to the General Conditions of Sale of the Sheffield District Incorporated Law Society and to Special Conditions to be then produced and read, the following Lots Property, namely;

LOT 1 ALL that DWELLING-HOUSE, Numbered 79, in Gardens Lane, Conisborough.

LOT 2. ALL those TWO DWELLING-HOUSES, Numbered 77 and 75, Gardens Lane, aforesaid.

LOT 3 All those TWO DWELLING-HOUSES, Numbered 75 and 71, Gardens Lane, aforesaid.

LOT 4 All those TWO DWELLING-HOUSES-, Numbered 69 and 67, Gardens Lane, aforesaid.

LOT 5- All those TWO DWELLING-HOUSES. Numbered 65 and 63, Gardens Lane, aforesaid.

LOT 6 All those TWO DWELLING-HOUSES, Numbered 61 and 59, Gardens Lane, aforesaid.

LOT 7. ALL that PLOT of BUILDING LAND, situate in Ivanhoe Road, Conisborough, having a frontage thereto feet, and containing an area of 781 square vards or thereabouts.

All the above seven Lots are Freehold, but the Barnsley Bed of Coal and all Minerals at a greater depth than 150 yards from the surface, together with full rights of working without being liable for damage, are excepted from the Sale.

Lot 1 produces a gross annual rent of £14 6s. Od., and Lots 2. 3, 4. 5, and 6 each produce a gross annual rent of £28 12s. 0d.

Lots 1, 2, 3, 4. 5, and 6 (which together produce a gross annual rent of £157 6s. Od.) will be first offered in one lot, and if not so sold will then be offered in the lots above mentioned.

LOT 8. All that MESSUAGE or DWELLING-HOUSE, situate in Doncaster Road, Conisborough, known as Mona House, containing four rooms on the ground floor and four bedrooms, and until his death in the occupation of the deceased.

LOT 9. All those TWO DWELLING-HOUSES, situate and Numbered 20 and 22 in Doncaster Road, aforesaid, and which produce a gross annual rent of £28 12s. 0d.

Lots 8 and 9 are Copyhold of the Manor of Conisborough. The wooden erections on Lots 8 and 9, and large Shop Window in Mona House, are not included in the Sale, but the purchasers will have the option of taking to these at price to be agreed fixed by the Auctioneers.

All the properties are pleasantly situated, and houses are well built and command good and respectable tenants.
