To be sold by auction by Mr Robert Fanshawe by order of the devisees under the will of the late Mr Alfred Alderson, deceased, at the Yellow Lion Hotel, Haymarket, Sheffield on Tuesday, 15 December 1885 at 3 o’clock in the afternoon precisely in the following are such locks as may be agreed upon at the time of sale (subject to the General Conditions of Sale of the Sheffield District Incorporated Law Society, and to the Special Conditions to be then produced and read:

At Conisbrough

Lot 1 – A cottage and garden with 930 yd.² or thereabouts of grass land adjoining

Lot 2 – A dwelling house in the Town Street Conisbrough, with the Yard, Stabling, Coach House and two gardens thereto belonging.

Lot 3 – the extensive farmyard and fold yards with the barn, stables, cow houses, granaries and other large and commodious Farm Buildings thereon, adjoining Lot 2

Lot 4 – A Close of Grass Land, called the “First Croft,” with two Stack yards, range of farm buildings, and Carriage House adjoining, containing in the whole 3s 1r 0p or thereabouts.

Lot 5 – A Close of Grass Land, adjoining Lot 4, called the “Second Croft,” and containing 4s 2r 16p or thereabouts.

The above lots are all in the occupation of Mr J.A. Simpson or his under tenant
