Visibility improvement.
To improve visibility on a curve of Low Road, Conisbrough, and to make a “presentable sidewalk” the West Riding County Council are cutting into the bank in front of the castle in order to widen their pavement. This operation, an official said on Tuesday, is part of a West Riding policy of road improvement between Low road and Manvers main.
The stretch at present being improved is about 300 yards long. Work should be finished next month.
