Visit of Dr. Figgis
On Sunday evening the service was processional at the Denaby Main Church All Saints, the occasion being the visit of Doctor Figgis.
It was a real treat to hear this learned gentleman discourse on present day ideas, etc.. in his sermon, regarding the search for happiness.
Whilst not endeavouring to advertise, our readers might do worse than peruse a copy of “Christianity at the Cross roads.” a series of lectures in book form delivered by Dr. Figgis at Harvard university some little time ago.
