W.A.A.F. Weds

Mrs. H. Vowers (nee Miss Dorothy Hodgetts), daughter of Mr. and Mrs. R. Hodgetts, of 4. Warmsworth Street, Denaby Main, who enlisted in the W.A.A.F. last May and is now doing clerical work, writes to say that she is well and happy.

She has many friends in the, locality who will be pleased to hear of her and to learn of the romance attached to her service with the Forces.

Mrs. Vowers was married last November at Flint, in Wales, to Corporal H. Vowers, whom she had met after she “joined up” and now she is carrying on with her job and he is carrying on with his training.

Her husband is at present completing his course in the R.A.F. Mrs. Vowers has two brothers-in-law in the Army, Sergt. J. A. Senior and Gunner H. Jackson.
