Wadsworth for Southend

Walter Wadsworth, the young Kilnhurst player who was introduced to the Denaby team during last season with considerable success, has been engaged by Southend, the club with whom Percy Beaumont, the former Barnsley centre half, played last season.

Wadsworth has improved greatly since he took the outside right position in the Denaby attack. He is fearless, plays with rare dash and enthusiasm, centres well, and shoots with power.

He was introduced to Midland League football last October and retained his place in the Denaby team to the end of the season.
