Son of Mrs F Linforth, Highfields, Conisbrough, is ascertained to be a prisoner in Germany.
He wrote very cheerfully on July 20 from Alten-grab bow saying that he was being well treated and that he had had recently taken part in a fancy dress carnival and a comic football match.
He adds that good concerts are given, and that the English prisoners of the chance of learning the French language..
