The disappearance of a watch and chain and two silver medals from a dwelling at 20, Council Houses. New Edlington, coincided with the vanishing of Luke Herbert Wigley, a labourer, of Conisborough, and at Doncaster West .Riding Court yesterday Wigley was charged with the theft of the articles, belonging to a fellow lodger, Charles Reed Mitchell.
The prisoner was remanded for week on bail.
