Mr. R. Kimber (Conisborough) and Miss O. Alcock (Conisborough).

At New Hill Methodist Chapel, Conisborough on Saturday, Miss Olive Alcock, fourth daughter of Mr. and Mrs. F. Alcock, 53, Garden Lane, Conisborough, was married to Mr. Ronald Kimber, only son of Mr. and Mrs. G. Kimber.

The serve was choral. Given away by her father, the bride was attired in a gown of white satin with veil and coronet and carried roses.

Misses Lily Alcock. Lottie Thompson and Joan Randall wearing dresses of rose pink taffeta and carrying posies of purple violas, were bridesmaids. Mr. Jack Randall was best man. and Mr. Tom Allcock groomsman.

The bride was formerly employed by Messrs. Tyas and Guest, of Swinton, but is now employed on Government work. Her family have been connected with the New Hill Methodist Chapel for many years.

The bridegroom is a stone contractor at Denaby Main Colliery.
