Her Wedding Gown

SIXTY-EIGHT yards of French lace made up a beautiful Queen Victoria style gown which was worn by Miss Judith , Appleyard, only child of Mr. and Mrs. Eric Appleyard, of 71, Park Road, Conisbrough, on the occasion of her wedding on Saturday at St. Peter’s Church, Conisbrough.

The bridegroom was Mr. Alan Jame McGill, son of Mr. and Mrs. James Kerr McGill, of “Sutton Bank,” Rotherham Road, Tickhill, and the Vicar of Conisbrough, the Rev. G. F. Braithwaite officiated.

The bride’s father, Mr. Eric. Appleyard, of Apple-yard and Sons, well known haulage contractors, gave the bride away.
