The marriage was quietly solemnised at the Parish Church, Denaby Main, on Saturday morning of Miss Eleanor May Berry, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Berry, of Wheatley Street, Denaby Main, and Mr. Harold Brocklesby, youngest son of the late Mr. J. Brocklesby and of Mrs. Brocklesby. of Holywell Lane, Conisborough.
The ceremony was performed by the Rev. J. Ellis Robinson, of Conisborough.
The bride, who was given away by her father, was unattended by maids. Mr. George Brockleeby acted as best man. Several relatives of both bride and bridegroom were in attendance at church. A reception was held at the home of the bride, and later Mr. and Mrs. Brocklesby left for the honeymoon which is to be spent touring Wales, Devon and Cornwall.
Their future residence will be at Warmsworth.
Mr. Brocklesby, a very well-known Conisborough man, is in partnership with his brother George in estate business. He is superintendent of the Conisborough Wesleyan Sunday School, a member of the Mexborough Green Room Society, a member of Conisborough Musical Society, and secretary of the Edlington Infirmary Quota Committee,
