Bride In Victorian Style Gown
Miss Gillian Susan Carr, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Carr, of 43, Spring Lane, Sprotborough married Mr. Harold Sapey, only son of Mr. and Mrs., Harold Sapey’ of 2, Braithwell Street, Denaby, at St. Mary’s Church, Sprotborough, on Saturday, the Rev. Jones officiating.
The bride, given away by her father, wore a Victorian style gown, bouffant vel and carried white lilles, red roses and stephanotis. She was attended by Misses Jacqueline Carr, Lesley Thompson, Julle Goss and Carol Goss who wore Victorian style pink lace dresses, white and pink petalled head-dresses and carried yellow roses.
Best man, was Mr. Frank Ward and the groomsman Mr. Gary Coates.
The bride’’s mother wore a navy dress and coat trimmed with white and a matching hat, while the ‘groom’’s mother chose a coffee and caramel dress and coat with peach accessories.
A reception was held at the Crown Inn, Barnburgh
