The marriage was solemnised on Boxing Day of Miss Frances Margaret Dunk, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Dunk, of “Bryn Don,” Conisborough, and Mr. Thomas Lindop Barber, only son of Mr. and Mrs. A. E. Barber, which was conducted by Canon Eddershaw, Vicar of Conisborough took place at the Parish Church.
The bride was given away by her father, and the best man was-Mr. J. F. Dunk, brother of the bride. The bride is well known in the Conisborough district, and is an old pupil of Mexborough Secondary School. Both bride and bridegroom gained their B.Sc. degrees at Manchester University.
