Wedding – Hacker & Boot.
Interesting news from Southern India arrived at the home of Mr. and Mrs. W. Boot, of Tickhill St., Denaby, this week.
On April 16th, Mr. Laurence S. Boot, son of Mr. and Mrs. W. Boot, was married to Miss Freda Hacker, daughter of the Rev. H. Hacker, a retired missionary of Kodai, Southern India.
Mr. Laurence Boot was a pupil of the Mexboro’ Secondary School and later took a B.A. degree at Sheffield University. He went out to Rangoon three years ago, as vice-principal of the Rangoon High School of students.
About a year ago Mr. Boot was appointed principal
