Mr. W. Ellis (Conisborough) and Miss C. D. Haywood (Conisborough)

On Monday, at Conisborough Parish Church, the marriage was solemnised between Miss Cissie Doreen Haywood, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. Haywood, of 6, Copley Avenue. Conisborough, and Mr. Wilfred Ellis, eldest son of Mr. and Mrs . I. Ellis, 27, Leslie Avenue. Conisborough.

Given away by her father, the bride wore a gown of white satin cut on classical lines with veil and coronet of pearl and orange blossom. She carried Madonna lilies. Bridesmaids were the Misses Hilda and Kathleen Fitz- Simmons, who wore floral dresses and coronets of lilies, and veils and muffs to match, and Misses Joan and Doris Melbourne who were attired in pink silk with coronets to match. The bridesmaids carried pink tulips.

Mr. O. Harris was best man and Mr. Jack Haywood groomsman.
