Wedding – Lee & Chetwynd

Mr. Leslie Chetwynd, third son of the late Mr. Chetwynd, and of Mrs. Chetwynd, 103, Doncaster Road, Denaby Main was married at St. Peter’s Church, Conisbrough, on Saturday, to Miss Rose Ada Lee, youngest daughter of the late Mr. P. Lee and of Mrs. Lee. 7, Willow Street. Conisbrough.

Mr. C. W. Lee gave his sister away, and she wore a gown of white taffeta in crinoline style with overdress of lace and trimmed with white satin beaute. She also had a halo veil with wreath of camellias and carried pink carnations and white heather. Matrons of honour were Mrs. E. Rotherham and Mrs. S. Chafield, both wearing dresses of lavender taffeta with halo veils and carrying yellow chrysanthemums. Miss Marie Fox wore a dress in Edwardian style in white satin and lace and a poke bonnet.

Neville Adams was page in a white satin blouse and green velvet trousers. Mr. T. Shepherd was best man and Messrs. J. Chetwynd and C. P. Lee groomsmen.
