The wedding took place at the Parish Church on Monday of Miss Mary Jane Morton, only daughter of Mrs. and the late Mr. Harry Morton, of Taylor Street, Conisborough, and Mr. Henry Peters, third son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Peters, Annerley Street, Denaby.

The Vicar, the Rev, H. T. Eddershaw, officiated and the bride, who was given away by her uncle, Mr, Bradley (Retford), was attired in a gown of pink satin beaute with a net veil and a wreath of orange blossom. She was attended by a dame of honour, Mrs. Kathleen Napier, in powder blue organdie, and two bridesmaids, Misses Edith Harris and Marjorie Swift, in mauve taffeta. Little Doreen Swift was an attendant and Stanley Swift was page boy in pal, breeches and blouse.
