Wedding – Moseley and Rhodes.

The wedding took place at Denabv Parish Church on Whit-Monday of Miss Evelyn Pauline Rhodes, third daughter of Mr. and Mrs. T. Rhodes, 25, Prior Road, Conisboro’. and Mr. W. H. Moseley. eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. I. L. Moseley. 97. Tickhill Street, the Rev. S. Powley officiating.

The bride, given away by her eldest brother, Mr. T. A. Rhodes, was attired in a gown of white satin charmeuse with embroidered veil and head-dress, the ensemble being completed with a shower bouquet of roses. Her attendants were Miss Lottie Millard in white flowered georgette and black hat: Miss Ethel Rhodes in pink flowered georgette and black hat, and Miss Grace Thacker in mauve silk with head-dress of silver leaves.

Mr. Fred Moseley (brother of the bridegroom) was best man, and Mr. Clarence Rhodes (brother), was groomsman. A reception was held at the Ambulance Headquarters. The bride’s mother wore a dress of black silk marocain with hat to match. and the bridegroom’s mother was dressed in navy blue French crepe with hat to tone.

The honeymoon is being spent on the East Coast. The bride travelled in a green two-piece suit with hat and shoes to match.
