The wedding took place at St. Alban’s Catholic Church, Denaby, on Saturday of Miss Catherine Nichol, second daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Nichol, of 15, Barnsley Avenue, Conanby, Conisborough, and Mr. Ernest Halliwell, second son of `Mr. and Mrs. Halliwell, of 77, Liverpool Street, Attercliffe, Sheffield.
The ceremony was performed by Fr. G. Hinchcliffe (curate), and the bride, who was given away by her brother, Mr. Jack Nichol, was dressed in a picture gown of white georgette and silver, with an embroidered net veil and a wreath of orange blossom. She carried a bouquet of pink roses and fern and was attended by Miss Mary Redfern, in a gown of gold satin with head dress to tone.
