Double wedding celebrations took place at Conanby last week when Mr. and Mrs. P. Oakley, of 5, Halifax Avenue, on their silver wedding anniversary, saw their second daughter, Miss Phyllis Oakley, married Mr Joseph Edward Davies, also of Conanby. Mr. Davies, a corporal in the Royal Air Force, is the only son of Mr. and Mrs. G. S. Davies of Denaby Avenue.
