Miss Annie Mary Pendiebury, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H. Pendlebury, of 31. York Street, Mexborougn, and Mr. Clifford Rowe, son of Mr. and Mrs. E. Rowe, of 201, Doncaster Road, Conisborough, were married on Saturday at Mexborough Parish Church, the Rev. G. Bernard officiating.

The brides ‘ brother. Mr. Harry Pendiebury, was best man and the groomsrnan was Mr A. Pendlebury.

Given away by her father, the bride, in a gown of white satin beaute trimmed with pearls, wore a veil and wreath of orange blossom, and a pearl necklace and carried pink carnations.

The bridesmaids were Miss Kathleen Denham, in green satin. Miss Avis Blunn in blue taffeta, with an overdress of net and Miss Joyce Wood, in gold taffeta. The maids all wore head-dresses to tone with their dresses and carried yellow chrysanthemums. They received gold signet rings from the bridegroom.

The bride’s mother was attired in a dress of wine coloured wool with accessories to tone and the bridegroom’s mother wore a dress of violet marocain. Both wore sprays of white heather.
