Roberts and Etherington

The wedding took place at Conisbrough Parish Church of Miss Annie Roberts, only daughter of Mrs. and the late Mr. R. Roberts, of Wellgate, Conisbrough, and Stoker Granville Etherington, eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. G. Etherington of 15, Chapel Street, Ardsley.

The bride was given away by her mother, and wore a dress of ice blue satin, with veil and carried red carnations and fern.  She was attended by Miss Sylvia Etherington, and Miss Doris Bailey, in pink taffeta, with head-dresses to tone.  Bridesmaids carried pink carnations.

Mr. A. Brooks was best man, and Mr. R. Etherington groomsman.

Among the wedding presents from workmates were a reading lamp and a bread board and knife.
