The bride was given away by her step father, Mr. T. R. Larke, and was attired in a dress of sky blue silk, with a veil to match, and wore a coronet of orange blossom and carried a bouquet of pink carnations.
She was attended by Miss Barbara Peters who wore a mauve dress with matching hat, and Mrs. Butcher in a blue dress and hat to tone. They carried bronze chrysanthemums and wore brooches, the gift of the bridegroom.
The best man was Mr. C. I. Place, brother of the bridegroom.
After the ceremony a reception was held by Mr. and Mrs. Larke at their home. Mrs. Larke wore a dress of brown spotted georgette, with hat to match, and the bridegroom’s mother wore a blue ensemble.
