Wedding: Stones & Gill

Many friends attended the wedding on Saturday at the Denaby Parish Church of Miss Bertha Stones, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. T. Stones, 85 Balby Street, Denaby, and Mr. Robert Gill, only son of Mr. and Mrs. A. Gill, 1 Cliff View, Denaby.

The bride was given away by her father and wore ivory satin with silver trimmings and carried pink carnations and fern.

She was attended by Misses E. Lees in pale blue crepe de chine and black close-fitting hat and carrying yellow tulips and narcissi; and Bertha and Florence Stones, in flowered silk with caps to match, and carrying baskets of flowers.

The best man was Mr. David Stones, and the groomsman Mr. S. Whiting.
