Conisbrough Bride Weds At Lincoln

Miss Maureen Stringer, younger daughter of Mrs. H. Stringer, of Hollyhead Farm, Crookhill Road, Conisbrough, was married at Burton Road Mission Church, Lincoln, last week, to Mr. John Howard Hammerton, elder son of Mr. and Mrs. G.W. Hammerton, of Grange Lodge, Riseholme, near Lincoln.

Given away by her brother, Mr. F. Stringer, the bride wore a white dress of lace over satin with a white nylon net head-dress and carried red carnations, white freesia, lilies-of-the-valley and fern.

In attendance were Misses Gillian and Pauline Hammerton, the; Misses Susan and Jennifer Stringer, Miss Glynis Roberts, and Andrew Fisher. The Misses Hammerton wore champagne brocade dresses with turquoise blue accessories and carried cream carnations and fern.
