At Conisbrough Parish Church last Tuesday Miss Hazel Tyas, twin daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. Tyas, of 17. Castle Grove Terrace, Conisbrough, was married to Mr. Benson Huck, youngest son of Mrs. J. R. Huck. of “Frosterley” Doncaster Road, Conisbrough.

The bride’s sister, Miss Violet Huck was at the organ. Given away by her brother, Mr. Walter Tyasthe bride was attired in a gown of white moire taffeta with train. She wore an embroidered set veil with coronet of white feathers and carried dark red roses.

Her bridesmaids Mrs. A. M. Stott, Miss Barbara Hannan, Miss Patricia Hannam Miss Mavis Hannam, Miss Margaret Tyas, Miss Dorothy Tyas and Miss Maureen Kelly, wore dresses of rose and green moire taffeta and had muffs to match.

Best man was Mr. J. Martin (brother-in-law of the bridegroom), and groomsmen were Gunner Harry Tyas and L.A/c, A. N. Stott. When the couple left for their honeymoon in London the bride was wearing an apple green costume with straw bat and brown accessories.

The bridegroom, who is serving with the Royal Engineers, formerly worked for the L.N.E.R. at Doncaster and Mexborough and the bride employed at the British Westfalite Works.
