Dryden-Willis.

At the Denaby Parish Church on Saturday by the Vicar the Rev. S. Powley), Miss Alice Willis, fifth daughter of the late Mr. H. Willie and of Mrs. Willis. Strafforth Terrace, Denaby Main, was married to Mr. John Stuart Dryden, eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. A. Dryden, 66, Doncaster Road, Mexborough.

The bride has been for some years a Sunday school worker in connection with the Parish Church. The service was fully choral. Mr. E. Dahlia being at the organ.

The bride, who was given away by her brother Mr. George Willis), was attired in an ankle length dress of cream satin with coatee of silver lace, and wore a Juliet cap of silver lace trimmed with orange blossom and a long veil (kindly lent by Mrs.A.H. Shepherd. of (Conisborough). She carried a sheaf of white lilies. The train-hearer. Marion Bancroft, wore a Victorian dress of cream satin and a Juliet cap.

The bride’s attendants were Miss A. Willis (sister), Miss P. Dryden (sister of bridegroom). and the Misses M. A. Stanley and I. Blackburn (friends of the bride). They all wore dresses of love-in-a-mist, blue crepe suede (ankle- length) with crinoline picture hats and shower boquets of pink carations and roses
