Whist Drives in the Mexbro District

There is quite boom in whist drives in the Mexborough district at the present time. The Denaby teachers leading the way with the holding of one a month for some good cause.

About hundred and 50 persons were present at the one held in the large Hall in Rossington street schools last evening , and which was in aid of the Fullerton hospital.

At Kilnhurst the teachers also promoted one, and at Swinton the members of the Institute held a most enjoyable gathering in tbe pretty Public Hall.

In each install there was a good gathering, and competition keen for the various prizes.
