Wilful Damage to fences at Conisborough

Thomas Crowson, Frederick Crowson and Frederick Bodkin, three small boys in Conisborough, were charged with doing wilful damage to fences and also to grass on 11 June, the property of Bosdin James Clarkson.

PC Jarvis stated that at 12:15 p.m. he was on duty in plainclothes on Denaby Road, when he saw the boys go across fields, and also break down the edges.

Thomas Bryant stated that some of the grass would not be able to be cut, it was so trampled down.

The damage to the fence and the grass was three shillings.

Defendants were ordered to pay the damages 3 shillings
