Wilful Damage to Haystack

On Saturday, at the Doncaster West Riding Police Court, three lads named Henry Roberts, William Roberts, and Ralph Harrison, of Denaby, were summoned for doing wilful damage to haystack at Conisborough on the 14th of September.

Mr. Pawson, who prosecuted on behalf of the Denaby Main Colliery Company, said the lads were climbing the stack and did damage to the amount of 2s. 6d.

The lads admitted the offence, and William Roberts was ordered to pay the damage and costs, and the other two the costs.
