Well and Happy
Gunner H. V. Woodhouse, of Field Cottage, Old Denaby, was an active member of the K.O.Y.L.I., and was serving his last year at the outbreak of war.
He was called up early in August and later drafted to France with the B.E.F. where he is now serving.
He was well-known in Old Denaby where his friends are looking forward to seeing his photograph in the “Gallery”.
He was employed at Denaby Colliery, and his workmates will be pleased to learn that he was (at the time of writing this note), well and happy.
