Young Anglers
Growing Interest at Conisbrough

Conisbrough teenagers are becoming more interested in angling a short by the number of applicants which Mr Fred Stephenson, secretary of Conisbrough and district Angling Association has had in the past two months.

In conjunction with the senior league the Association ran a juvenile competition for children under 15. Last season there were about nine youngsters in the juvenile section. Since the season finished Mr Stevenson has had twice that number of applicants, but has had to turn them down as they travel half fare and the bus companies asked for full fare. So membership is restricted to children who have fathers in the Association.
