Denaby Main Colliery.

The erection of the new cottages at Conisbro’ for the Denaby Main Colliery Company will be commenced at once by Mr. Ainley of Doncaster.

It is computed that about a million and a half of bricks will be needed for the 400 houses proposed to be erected.

Yesterday a line of rails was laid from the Manchester, Sheffield, and Lincolnshire Railway to the spot where it is proposed to sink the new shaft, and the preliminary arrangements are being made preparatory to the laying down the machinery.
