In January 1911, a 30 year old is drowned, after walking into the River Don on a foggy night
Two more young men get into troubles after marriage and “spooning”
A man was sent to prison a second time, after bringing his wife and family out of the workhouse, and deserting them, also for a second time
Two miners are fined for interfering with the comfort of train passengers
And there are more offences in the mine, including a 18 years old summoned for stealing a one penny, surgical bandage
United’s fortunes improve by beating the reserves of Leeds City and Leicester Fosse and Mexborough on a quagmire at Hampden Road

A man with a broken back is to be married at Denaby in February 1911
