Team Changes Upset Denaby´s Smooth Working

Boston Utd. 5, Denaby Utd. 1

With a weakened team, Denaby United found Boston United a far more superior team than in their last two encounters.

The reorganisation of Denaby´s side, which had to be done mainly owing to Moralee playing with Grimsby and Happs being engaged on registration duties appeared to reorganise the side after the first five minutes or so, for after this initial period there were rather lucky to get their goal, which came early and was due to a defensive lapse, the point being obtained by SHELTON.

Boston´s two goals before the interval were scored by BARTON and NOTLEY. Although Boston played the better football they did not add to their score until 20 minutes from the end through BARTON and NOTELY (2).
