Mexborough and Swinton Times November 30 1940
Pte. Morris Bell, son of Mr. and Mrs. Bell, of 114, Annerley Street, Denaby Main, was called up in May.
He has completed his training and was due to go abroad a few weeks ago, but was taken ill and had to be left behind for the time being.
By the time this photograph is published he may have left for foreign parts.
Morris will take good wishes with him from workmates at Denaby Colliery, where he was employed before joining the Army.
