“Bounce Ball” at Conisborough.

William Kendray, Georgia Rowland, and George Walker, pony driver’s, were summoned for throwing a ball to the interruption of persons, at Conisborough, on the 15th August.

PC Barnett said that on Tuesday, the 15th of the previous month, at 2 PM, he was on duty in Blythe Street, new Conisborough, where he saw three defendants, in company with several others, playing a game called “bounce ball.”

They were very disorderly. He had had numerous complaints from persons residing near on account of the conduct of the roughs.

Elizabeth Davies and Sarah Brough, married women, Blythe Street, New Conisborough, corroborated.

The defendants were fined 20 shillings each including costs.
