Canine Notes.
The Denaby and Cadeby Miner’s Welfare Society visited the Barnsley Canine Societies headquarters last Thursday in the return series of inter society matches. There were 32 dogs competing.
Mr. E. Swann of Cudworth was the judge.
Final awards were: Mr Fleetwood’s Scottish terrier, “Rombalds Reprint,” best exhibit and best of; Mr F Squires, “Fearless Glass,” best bitch, and Mr E Gray’s Borzoi, “Bruce of Lenard,” best puppy.
At the Doncaster Kennel Association members show on Saturday, the Cup and diploma for best exhibit went to the smooth Fox terrier, “Colliery Queen,” owned by Mr G.F.Sissons of Conisborough.
