Guardsman William Chiddy, eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. W. Chiddy of 51, Tickhill Street, Denaby Main, voluntarily enlisted in April of this year in the Coldstream Guards.
He was previously employed on the surface at Denaby Main Colliery.
