Conisborough Glassblower Drunk and Asleep in Hedge Bottom.
John Comer, glassblower, of Conisborough, was charged with being drunk and disorderly at that place on 27th ult
PC Munro, stated that on the day named at about 10:30 p.m., he heard a great disturbance in Station Road and on proceeding there he found the defendant lying in the hedge bottom, and using most beastly language to a party who were passing at the time along the road.
He sent the defendant home.
About an hour afterwards, he again found the defendant lying asleep in the hedge bottom near to the Station Inn. He then saw him home.
The defendant, who had been previously fined,had to pay a fine of 20s and 9s 6d costs.
