Damaging Growing Grass.
Arthur Roberts, was charged at the Rotherham Police Court last Monday with damaging growing grass at Denaby belonging to William Spooner of that place, and he was fined 6d, had to pay 6d damages and 8s 6d costs.
The complainant expressed the wish that this prosecution might be effectual in preventing a recurrence of trespassing, which had been a common practice of late on his land
