a picturistation of the famous verses by C. J. Dennis, is the chief picture in the programme this week-end.
The Sentimental Bloke (1919) is an Australian silent film based on the 1915 poem The Songs of a Sentimental Bloke by C.J. Dennis . It is generally considered the greatest Australian silent film, and one of the best Australian movies of all time.

For Monday and Tuesday next week the star picture is entitled “Held by the Enemy,” a paramount production adapted from the famous play. Featuring Jack Holt, Agnes Ayres. Wanda Hawley and Lewis Stone.

For Wednesday only (two houses) William Fox presents madlaine Traverse in “The Iron Heart,” a powerful industrial story in five-acts.
Supplementing this will be a two-part comedy, “Kiss me, Caroline,” Movie Chat. And episode 5 of “The Great Reward.”
For Thursday and the rest of the week Wm. Fox presents the world-famous screen artiste. Pearl White. In a six-reel super-production. “Tiger´s Cub.” Adapted from George Godchild´s famous novel.
Supplementing this will be a two-part Sunshine comedy. “Singer Midget´s Side Show,” Graphic, and the final instalment of the serial picture, “The Veiled Mystery.”
