Drunk and disorderly at Denaby on April Fool´s day.

Arthur Machin, filler, and Alice Thomson, married woman, of New Conisbrough, were both summoned for being drunk and disorderly at Conisbrough on April 1.

PC Richardson, stated that on Monday, the first of the present month, at 10 p.m., he was on duty in Denaby, in company with PC Barnett, when they heard a disturbance going on in Loversall Street; they proceeded there, and found the two defendants drunk and fighting in the street.

There was a crowd of people around them. They parted the defendants, and told them to go away, but they refused.

The street was in uproar for about an hour.

PC Barnett, corroborated.

Machin was fined 20 shillings and costs; and Thompson, 20 shillings, including the costs.
