Two Denaby Gunners

In our gallery this week appear the photographs of two Denaby brothers, Gunners Charles H. Grocock and George H. Grocock.

They are the sons of the late Mr. William Grocock and of Mrs. Steelyard, of 73, Braithwell Street, Denaby Main.

They are both with light anti-aircraft batteries in England. Their father served through the Great War and was wounded at Ypres. Their mother has done good work in the St. John Ambulance Nursing Division, to which she was attached for over ten years.

They are both interested readers of the “Times”, and were employed before enlistment at Denaby colliery.
