Soldier – Horsman, Cecil – Died from wounds

Private Cecil Horsman

(K.O.Y.L.I.),

aged 20 years, son of Mr and Mrs Horsman, 41 Ivanhoe road, Conisbrough, has died from wounds received in France on July 1st.

He formerly worked at Messrs Kilner brothers.

His brother Hayden is a time expired soldier; after doing five years service he received his discharge in April 1915. Stanley, another brother, is serving in France. He was wounded at the Battle of Ypres by an explosion bomb, being then 17 years of age. William Arthur, an older brother was taken prisoner at the surrender of Kut.
