Insulted by a Beggar at Cadeby.

Thomas Brown, labourer, of Huddersfield was charged by Fanny Mellor, of Cadeby with begging.

The complainant stated that at about half past three on the previous day she was in the house when the defendant came to the door begging, and when she refused to give him anything he insulted her.

PC Barnes spoke to seeing the defendant at the door of complainant´s house.

Sent to prison for 21 days.
