Private McArthur of 19 Wadsworth Street, Denaby Main, died in Germany on May 2 of wounds.

He enlisted in June 1915, went to France last March, and was wounded and captured on April 16.

He was aged 30, and leaves a widow and two children. Before enlistment he was employed at Cadeby colliery.
