Nine Year old Boy Burned to Death at Denaby.
On Saturday afternoon, a boy named Joseph Dagnall, nine years of age, son of James Dagnall, Collier, living at Denaby, died from injuries received the previous Thursday.
At about 6:30 o’clock on the morning of that may the deceased went downstairs, and shortly afterwards his mother heard him scream.
She ran into the kitchen and found him up with his shirt on fire.
A lodger named Francis Owen assisted in extinguishing the flames, and the boy was subsequently attended by Dr Hill, of Conisborough.
