No Trace Yet of Missing Daughter.

Barbara Anne Martin, the 16-year-old Conisbrough girl who disappeared after leaving her home in Dearne Street, on September 6 has still not been traced.

Barbarar’s father Sam Martin, has travel to Leeds, Doncaster, Retford and Rotherham in search of his daughter, who has not been seen since she left home almost a month ago on her way to the Huddersfield worsted mill where she worked.

Mr Martin, a British Railways platelayer, has been out morning and night looking for his daughter, and as a result has not been to work since she left.

At the weekend Mr Martin traced Barbara´s boyfriend, who at the time of her disappearance was working at a Doncaster fairground, but he told Mr Martin he knows nothing of her whereabouts.

The girl has not been to work since she walked out last month, and her wages are still waiting to be claimed.

“If she will send a postcard to let us know she was all right, it wouldn’t be so bad,” said Mr Martin.

Police are still making enquiries
